Homemade Lime Curd

Homemade Lime Curd

Homemade Lime Curd

Delicious! I love lemon curd but have never had lime curd. I have to try this!

I have to get my wife to make this…it looks like something I would love.

oh my goodness! My husband is a HUGE key lime pie fan. I must make this. And I never judge- I just had a pickle with my breakfast….

Yummmmmy! Excited to see what you use this in–can’t believe you’re making us wait until Monday I had a cream cheese brownie with my breakfast (after quinoa pancakes and egg white omelette- you win some you lose some!), so you’re not getting any judgement from me!

I am SO going to try making this using my less butter method! I like limes more than lemons anyway.

No judgment here, I’d have done the same thing!

Gorgeous! I’ve never made homemade lime or lemon curd before, but I want to. Love that you had some for breakfast! I had a few bites of bread pudding today.

Love it too. You took some great photos of it too, not the easiest thing to photograph. Check out my post I put up today I used lime curd in the frosting for the cupcakes. Mmm.. I’ll have to check back with you on Monday for your creation!

wow this looks so so good I adore lemon so this must be divine

This looks decadent!

I need to try making my own curd one of these days. The lime curd really does look excellent.

*kisses* HH

I make lemon curd because of my lemon tree, I get so many lemons I have to make something other than lemonade! I have some key lime juice that I squeezed in my freezer right now. I would love this lime curd (I love key lime pie) Thanks for sharing this! Yum!

Oh wow, this is so interesting! I love the idea of lime curd… I bet it would taste sensational in a cupcake… Great job on this and thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great weekend!

I really really wished I had seen this last week! I just bought some of this from Harry and David store so expensive and this looks so much and I know it is so much better homemade marvelous! Cant wait to use mine up and try yours!

Can’t wait to see what you are gonna do with this lime curd on Monday – looks awesome! Love your blog changes too!

OMG that looks amazing! I am going to be making some key lime curd later today for key lime pie cupcakes.

Looks great Brandy…I’m all curded out for the year but will put this on the schedule for next winter

I always thought curds were difficult!

This lime curd is so pretty. I would love to spread it on a warm scone.

I am bookmarking this as I have a recipe for lime pie that requires curd and I didn’t have a recipe! thanks for sharing!

Yum! This sounds great. I am looking forward to the Monday recipe too:)

What a fantastic recipe, it sounds delicious! I love spreading lemon curd on buttered toast, I bet lime curd would taste even better

I’ve never made lemon or lime curd before, but I’ve wanted to make both. Yum…makes it seem like summer!

Ohhh, Lime curd! I’ve never made it but I want to some day soon!

This homemade lime curd is packed full of citrus flavor. Use it in desserts or simply slather it on muffins, toast or scones.

I have had lemon curd before but lime curd was a whole new thing for me. It’s amazing and I love it. Yes. I’m in love with the jar lime curd sitting in my refrigerator. How could I not? The stuff taste like key lime pie in a jar. Which happens to be one of my favorite desserts. I actually ate a few spoonful’s for breakfast this morning…don’t judge me.

Another great thing about homemade lime curd is that it’s very simple to make. And you all know I’m a fan of simple. It took about 2o minutes to cook and then all I had to do was wait for it to cool….which was the hard part

Make sure to come and visit Nutmeg Nanny on Monday to see a little something you can make with your lime curd….you will LOVE it!!!
